Yes — delivery to any public access on Detroit Lake is free on multi-day rentals. Delivery to a private dock, cabin, or resort on Detroit Lake is $100. One thing to know: the driver needs a ride back to the truck, either in the pontoon or in your vehicle. We coordinate it by text the day before.

Yes — we deliver and pick up on any lake within 50 miles of Detroit Lakes. That covers Pelican, Lida, Melissa, Sallie, Big Cormorant, and dozens more. Delivery runs $200 to $500 depending on distance, and the exact fee shows when you choose your lake at checkout. Multi-day rentals only for lakes other than Detroit.

Book up to 10 days online; for longer rentals, contact Baxstar and we'll set it up. Multi-day rentals can be reserved far in advance and get the best rate. Single-day rentals are Detroit Lake only, and that calendar opens in May. Longer stays cost less per day — the totals are on the booking page.

Yes — the 115 hp Yamaha pulls tubers with ease, even with a full boat. The tow swing is built in. Bring your own tow rope and tube, skis, wakeboard, or kneeboard. For insurance reasons we do not rent tubes, ropes, or other water toys.

A refundable $750 hold goes on your card the day of the trip. It's a hold, not a charge. It's released after check-in unless your group is responsible for damage. If a repair runs past $750, Baxstar reserves the right to charge the actual repair cost or our insurance deductible.

No — refuel it yourself or have us do it. Fill it before return with 91 octane only, or we'll refuel it for you at $8 per gallon used, settled at check-in. Long runs and tubing burn more; anchoring at the sandbar and swimming burn almost none.

At the public access on the lake you chose, unless you added dock delivery — available only for rentals on Detroit Lake. Some lakes have more than one landing, so Brady or Jackie confirms the exact spot with you by text. You cannot trailer the pontoon to another lake yourself — delivery is how it moves.

Up to 12 people. It's a 22-foot Sylvan Mirage with an onboard changing room, adult and child life jackets, and room for coolers. Families with grandparents love it — the deck is flat and easy to board from a dock.

You choose a check-in between 10 am and 1 pm and keep the boat for 8 hours. Multi-day renters keep it overnight at their dock or slip. Need something different? Call us — we're two people, not a policy manual.

Yes — the private lake cruise is built for it. Your group of up to 11 gets the pontoon and Brady as captain, never shared with strangers. The 3 and 4 hour cruises leave time to swim, lounge, visit the sandbar, and stop at lakeside bars. Bring a cooler, drinks (21+), and decorations.

Time on the water — each cruise is tailored to your group. The 2-hour cruise is perfect for sightseeing, local history, or a relaxed ride with your group. The 3-hour cruise adds time to swim, lounge, or make a lakeside stop. The 4-hour cruise gives you plenty of time to combine cruising, swimming, and bar or restaurant stops.

At the newest public access on the north side of Big Detroit Lake. Every cruise begins and ends there. From the access, the cruise starts on Big Detroit Lake and travels around Little Detroit Lake. If you have trouble finding it, call Brady at 218-325-9846 and he'll talk you in.

Yes — bring a cooler with food and drinks. Alcohol is allowed; guests drinking must be 21 or older, and we ask everyone to drink responsibly. Adult and child life jackets are provided on every cruise, so all you need is the cooler, sunscreen, and the group.

No — prices on this page are before fees and tax. The 6% Provider Fee and Minnesota sales tax are added at checkout, and the booking page shows your full out-the-door total before you pay. On a $425 rental: $425 × 1.06 × 1.07375 = about $484 all-in, before any delivery fee.
